Course Overview

The NAVAid and Flight Inspection Training Course provides pilots, engineers, and operational personnel with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills required to perform and support the inspection and calibration of ground-based and satellite-based navigation aids. The training is fully aligned with international standards defined by ICAO.

Practical & Simulator Training

A core element of this course is simulator-based practical training enabling safe, repeatable exercises for complex inspection scenarios and abnormal conditions:

  • Simulated flight inspection profiles (ILS, VOR, GNSS procedures)
  • Signal measurement and evaluation techniques
  • Interpretation of inspection data
  • Identification of signal disturbances and interference
  • Scenario-based exercises (e.g. equipment failure, signal distortion)
